Golden Triangle with Khajuraho & Varanasi

Day 01, Arrival in Delhi:

On your arrival, you will receive a warm welcome from Golden Triangle Tour’s representative at the airport and also when you reach hotel. You will be tired after your flight journey so you can take rest or order the coffee. In the evening you will go to see the Light and Sound Show program at Red Fort. After this you will have dinner at a famous restaurant of Delhi and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02, Delhi Sightseeing:Today, you will spend whole day in exploring Delhi because it has many places to visit where one full day also looks less. After breakfast in the morning, you will go for sightseeing tour in Delhi.

In Delhi, you will come to see the two sides of Delhi called Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi connects you with the history, tradition and culture of India. On the other side, New Delhi shows the face of developing and modern culture of India.

In old Delhi, you will get to see the sights that include Red Fort (majestic red stone architecture), Jama Masjid, Chandi Chowk and old market of Delhi. Whereas in New Delhi, you will visit to India Gate, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and Akshardham Temple, and National Art Gallery.

If you are interested in shopping or partying then you can visit to places like shopping malls, pubs, and movie clubs. Delhi has lot of such places where you will enjoy at the core and night life in Delhi is simply awesome.

Day 03, Delhi - Jaipur (250 kms):After having breakfast, we will drive you to Jaipur, also known with the name ‘pink city’u of Rajasthan or India. On the journey towards Jaipur you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, a world heritage site which has some masterpieces of Mughal architecture. In the pink city, you will get to explore the city palace, Hawa Mahal, temples and gardens. You will also enjoy the street folk singings. You can also go for shopping in Jaipur markets that are known for art and handicrafts products, jewelry, textile, and so many other things.

Here you will enjoy the diner at traditional Rajasthan’s restaurant or anything whatever you like to have. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04, Jaipur Sightseeing:Your fourth day of the tour will go into exploring ‘Pink City’ with Golden Triangle Tour, where you will visit some historical forts. After enjoying the breakfast, first you will explore Amber fort and Jaigarh fort. Here at Amber fort, you will enjoy the elephant ride that will be the most thrilling experience of your life. At Jaigarh fort, you will get to explore the largest canon on Wheels.

After enjoy visiting forts, you will come back to city for lunch and start your tour in places that include Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Albert Hall Museum, Astronomical observatory and the temples and gardens. Here in Jaipur, you can enjoy the endless shopping in buying things like jewelry, carpets, stone carvings, paintings and many more.

After all this you will go to a theme restaurant called ‘Choki Dhani’ in the evening. This place is for you to feel the vast art and culture of Rajasthan.

Don’t forget to take Camel ride near Jal Mahal, the most important ride that you would have ever had before.

In Jaipur, you can enjoy the folk dance and music with typical Rajasthani cuisine. After that you will come back to hotel and will stay overnight.

Day 05, Jaipur - Agra (250 kms):On the fourth day of your tour, you will go to Agra after enjoying breakfast in the morning. On the way towards city, you will have yummy lunch at highway restaurant and you will get to explore Tomb of Emperor Akbar at Sikandra.

After reaching Agra, we will take you to hotel where you can rest for while or get freshen up for your next passage. In the late afternoon, our representative will take you to the marble factories. Agra city is also known with another name ‘the city of marbles.’

In the evening, you will enjoy a special Mughlai dinner at a famous restaurant in Agra. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 06, Agra- Khajuraho via Jhansi & Orchha:On the sixth day of your tour, you will visit Taj Mahal first in the morning to see the changing color of Taj Mahal in the morning. Dawn at Taj Mahal looks stunning and something that is incomparable. Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaj.

After visiting Taj, you will move to railway station to board the train for Jhansi. Once you reach at Jhansi, our representative will drive you to Khajuraho. On the way, you will visit Orchha temples that are known for medieval painting and architecture. On your arrival at Khajuraho you will take your hotel.

The temples in Khajuraho are best known for their artistic work in the world. These temples have great history itself, they are dedicated to Hindu gods and goddesses. Some of the paintings on the wall of these temples also portray sexualities of human beings.

In the evening you will explore the Western and Eastern temples of Khajuraho. Stay overnight at hotel after dinner.

Day 07, Khajuraho - Varanasi (via flight):Today post breakfast, you will head to half day sightseeing at Khajuraho. The first place to visit in Khajuraho is the great Kandariya Mahadev Temple that was built in honor to Lord Shiva and it is one of the tallest temples in this place. After this, you will go visit Brahman Temple, Vamana Temple and then Javari temple. You will also visit Jain Temples where you will get to explore sculpture and architecture.

After this, our representative will drop you to airport where you will board a flight for Varanasi. On your arrival, our delegate will take you to hotel.

Talking about Varanasi, it is one the oldest Hindu pilgrimage in India. The temples in Varanasi are located on the bank of river Ganga. Some of the well known Indian writers have spent their many years of life in Varanasi that include Kabir, Tulsidas, Ravidas. The city is also very famous for silk. In the evening, you will also get to see the ‘Aarti’ ceremony at the Ghats.

Stay overnight at hotel after traditional Varanasi dinner.

Day 08, Varanasi sightseeing:On the eighth day of your tour, you will take a boat to explore holy river Ganga. According to Hindu spirituality, if you take dip to Ganga River, you can wash away your sins.

After visiting river Ganga, you will go to Sarnath. Sarnath is near about 10 kilometers from Varanasi. In this place you will find some temples and monasteries of Buddhist. After that you will go to Banaras Hindu University and Museum that has some great Indian arts and sculptures. You will also go visit the Aurangzeb’s Mosque and then come back to Varanasi, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 09, Varanasi - Delhi (by flight):On the last day of your tour, Golden Triangle Tour will bid farewell to you. After breakfast, our representative will drop you to Varanasi airport to board the flight to Delhi where you will catch the flight to go home.
